Programme

The programme for 2010 is found below and as in previous years features talks and presentations on a variety of subjects. All meetings start at 8.00pm unless indicated otherwise. Due to events outside the control of the society occasionally changes in the programme may occur, so it is advisable to monitor this page and the News section for up to date information.

21.01.10.	8.00pm	Annual Photographic Competition followed by 'Members Slide Evening'	Annual photo' competition followed by members slide night, giving members chance to show off their most recent interesting images.
18.02.10.	8.00pm	'The Canberra PR9'	February's meeting sees a welcome return to the Society by Sqn Ldr Rich Sanderson with a presentation on the Canberra PR9.
18.03.10.	8.00pm	'William Hugh Ewen'	A presentation by John Terry, grandson of the pioneer aviator William Hugh Ewen.
15.04.10.	8.00pm	'The Defences of Lincolnshire'	A presentation by author and historian Dr Mike Osborne on the military defences of Lincolnshire. NB This is a change from the scheduled guest speaker.
20.05.10.	8.00pm	'Stenigot Radar Station'	A presentation by Chris Lester.
17.06.10.	7.00pm	'Evening visit to Lincoln Aero Club, Sturgate Airfield'	As is traditional, the Society makes a summer evening visit to a local site of interest. This year a visit has been arranged to Lincoln Aero Club at Strugate.
15.07.10.	8.00pm	'Skydiving'	With skydiving being part of the Lincolnshire landscape with operations from Hibaldstow, the Society is pleased to welcome Paul Hollow with a talk on the subject.
19.08.10.	8.00pm	'Planning the Waddington Airshow'	Danny Mellor visits the Society with a presentation on the considerable preparation and planning that is undertaken to ensure that the annual airshow at RAF Waddington occurs.
16.09.10.	8.00pm	'BBMF Engineering'	A presentation by W/O Dave Marshall on the 'unseen' side of the BBMF; the engineering that is undertaken to keep the aircraft of the flight in the air.
21.10.10.	8.00pm	'TBC'	AVM Tony Stables makes a return visit to the Society.
18.11.10.	8.00pm	'Engineering the VC-10'	A presentation on the role of keeping the UK's aging and reducing fleet of VC-10's airworthy.
16.12.10.	*7.30pm*	Annual General Meeting followed by this years Annual Quiz	Society AGM followed by this years quiz.
