LINCOLNSHIRE AVIATION SOCIETY

ACTIVITIES

The Lincolnshire Aviation Society meets on the third Thursday of each month at the Stag’s Head Public House, located on Newport in Lincoln. Meetings commence at 8.00 PM in the upstairs meeting room, although members usually socialise beforehand in the bar.

As in previous years the programme for 2011 featured interesting talks and presentations on a wide variety of subjects, both by guest speakers and the society's own members. Although not yet complete 2012's programme is again looking interesting, with further details being added as they become available. In addition to this varied programme the society holds a light hearted annual quiz and photographic competition.

The Society also organises visits to sites of interest for its members. Recent visits have included Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airport and Marshall Aerospace at Cambridge.
